Public record, read from each city’s own permit portal on weekday mornings. A permit’s property type comes from how Ada County zones its parcel and what the permit says it is for. Industrial means the parcel is zoned industrial, or, where the county could not answer, the permit describes industrial work. Where the zoning allows several uses, the permit’s own words decide, and a permit that does not say is listed under Other.
